Jan Stohr

On Monday, September 10 the Sacramento Press Club freelance committee presented: "Grant Writing Made Easy," with Jan Stohr, the founder and former executive director of the Sacramento Nonprofit Resource Center.

Successful grant-writing requires significant advance planning, preparation and organization. Jan Stohr, the founder and former executive director of the Sacramento Nonprofit Resource Center, shared expert secrets for making a living writing for non-profits by mastering the tricky art of grant writing.

Jan Stohr opened the Sacramento Nonprofit Resource Center in 1989. For the next 18 years, Stohr guided hundreds of grant writers through the often-confusing and sometimes confounding do's and don'ts of successful grant writing.
