On Tuesday, April 8 the Sacramento
Press Club Freelance Committee presented:
Using the California State
Library
The California State Library is an excellent but often
underutilized resource for journalists researching our state’s history. Gary
Kurutz, director of special collections at the California State Library spoke about using the library to research the nooks and crannies of California history.
Kurutz was joined by Audrey Dodds, who discussed the special resources
available to journalists in the library’s newly formed state information and
government publications section.
