On Tuesday, November 8th the Sacramento Press Club Seminar Committee presented:

Experts Explain Health Care Reform Efforts

The result of the 2012 presidential election may vastly change the future of health care. But underneath the visceral hostility for the federal law that critics call ‘Obamacare’ is an impending set of policies that have very real consequences for all Californians.

How can the public slice through propaganda by politicians, insurers, drug companies, and advocates, and understand what the Affordable Care Act actually accomplishes and neglects?

And how can journalists maintain a big-picture perspective while reporting on the day-to-day political developments?

The Sacramento Press Club hosted some of the most respected health care experts in the fields of media, business, and advocacy, for an inside perspective on reform efforts playing out in Washington and California.

When: Tuesday, Nov. 8th at 6:30 p.m.

Where: 3rd floor of the Sacramento Bee headquarters at 21st and Q Streets
