One is leaving the top post in his state party, the other is just getting started as the top man in his state party. The Sacramento Press Club hosted an engaging conversation with Senator Art Torres (ret), the Chairman of the California Democratic Party, and Ron Nehring, the Chairman of the California Republican Party, as they crossed political swords over the upcoming election and state party politics. Among the questions addressed: Will the Democrats win a veto-proof majority in the legislature? Or will the Republican Party surprise the pundits and make headway against the Democratic majority? With just two weeks left before Election Day, which races are being contested?
