2009 Sacramento Press Club Board of Directors
We'd now like to ask you to cast a ballot for the seven open positions on the 2009 Board of Directors.
As you may know, our 15-member Board serves staggered terms; eight other positions will be up for election in 2010. Of this year's open seats, three are reserved for professional members (who work full-time for a news organization); four are reserved for general members. This is in accordance with our SPC bylaws, which state that a majority of the Board shall be what we've historically called full-time "working press."

You may only vote once, and you must vote NO LATER THAN 5:00 p.m. on Friday, January 23. The new directors will be announced the following week, and will take their positions at the first SPC Board meeting in February, On behalf of the Board, thank you for your membership.
This year, we are pleased to announce that the Sacramento Press Club will award $15,000 in journalism scholarships... more than at any time in the organization's 48-year history!
