An Election Eve Debate with Steve Poizner and Tom Campbell
Republican gubernatorial candidate Steve Poizner, the state insurance commissioner, strongly opposes all six of the ballot measures voters will determine in the May 19th special election. Former Congressman and state finance director Tom Campbell, who is also seeking the GOP nomination for governor in 2010, thinks voters should endorse fully half of them. A large crowd filled the Sterling Hotel Ballroom for the lively debate.
