The Basics of Building a Great Freelance Web Site

These days, nobody should even consider getting into freelancing without having their own Web site. But how do you go about it? What makes a good site and, more important, what should you avoid? Can you do it yourself, or should you just fork over the money to have a real pro set you up? Join us on May 13 as Web designer Megan Krekorian offers answers to these and many other questions you may have on building a great Web site that helps you develop a more successful and lucrative career in freelance journalism. Megan will speak from a broad perspective on creating a Web presence—why have a site, the basics of design and search engine optimization, etc.

* When: Tuesday, May 13 at 6:00 pm.

* Where: The WEAVE offices at 1900 K Street, Sacramento, CA 95816
