On Tuesday March 10th the Sacramento Press Club Freelance Committee presented: Financial/Tax Tips for Freelancers
Tax season brings challenges and opportunities for freelancers. As a small business owner, you can deduct a whole range of things that full-time employees can't write off. However, tax laws change all the time so getting a refresher of how or if to deduct things like partial mortgages, meals, phone bills and retirement plans is worth a Tuesday night out
About our speaker: Cathy Curtis, a Certified Financial Planner and investment advisor is the owner of Curtis Financial Planning. She specializes in creating comprehensive financial plans and managing investment portfolios for individuals and small businesses.
